music contents annalysis 2

Masthead:
Drummer masthead is very common: black, thick, bold text. The font used is a serif font; the font is very similar to source magazine.
Sub-lines:
The sub-lines are giving us the audience more of an advance on what the story is about. with out going into full detail.
Setting:
It seems to me that the photographs took place in a stage and outside in a field, as I am aware that the background is different are different.
White backgrounds:
The purpose in doing this is to prevent the audience from getting distracted from the text.
Sub lines:
In drummer magazine they consist on a lot of subtitles, letting the audience get hints on the story without knowing the full background of the story
Regular categories:
In drummer they have a section which say” regular’s”. This indicates that they always put in entertainment fro the regular costumers who buy there magazine.
Main image:
The main image is of a man sitting on a drum kit. The photograph is in black and white. This image relates to the masthead as it includes drumming.
Other images:
All the other images have Caucasian white artist’s who play an instrument which would most likely be drumming
Text boxes:
Drummer contents page consist on a variety of text box in orange
Target audience:
In conclusion I strongly feel that the targeted audience would be (Caucasian white male and female) but mostly male in my perspective as I feel that white male come across in expressing their music more than females when it comes to rock. Also the reason why I feel it is target mostly for Caucasian whites is because all the people in the photographs are Caucasian white.
